Clonmel & County Tipperary Chamber of Commerce Submission to National Planning Framework
We have been invited to provide an input to the “Ireland 2040, Our Plan” National Planning Framework. From a recent meeting with the County Council, we have some insight into priorities for the Council, many of which would also be priorities for the Chamber. However, to provide solid insight into the needs of our members as part of this submission and other discussions, it would be useful to poll as many members as possible for areas of concern.
The Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government is leading the preparation of the National Planning Framework, or ‘NPF’, on behalf of Government, with input from other Departments and Agencies. It will be particularly relevant where there is a long term and place-based aspect to public policy and investment, including areas such as housing, jobs, transport, education, health, environment, energy and communications. As part of the process County Tipperary Chamber are asking their members and the general business community in the County to participate in our survey. Closing date for this survey is 31st of March 2017.
