County Tipperary Chamber Attends Lobbying Day 2025

ree

County Tipperary Chamber was proud to take part in Lobbying Day 2025, held yesterday in Dublin, where chambers from across the country came together to meet with TDs and councillors from all over Ireland.

Our CEO, Michelle Aylward, and Chamber President, Sarah Fogarty, represented the business community of Tipperary. Throughout the day, they engaged directly with elected representatives to ensure that the priorities of local enterprise were clearly heard at national level.

On behalf of our members, we highlighted the key priorities that matter most to Tipperary:

  • Housing and infrastructure to unlock growth and investment

  • Energy security and cost certainty to give businesses confidence to plan ahead

  • Support for SMEs, the backbone of our local economy

  • Investment in skills and training to prepare for the future of work

  • Stronger, more vibrant towns and communities across the county

Speaking after the event, CEO Michelle Aylward said:

“Lobbying is at the heart of what we do as a Chamber. Our role is to bring the concerns of Tipperary businesses directly to Government and to make sure our county’s voice is part of national decision-making.”

Lobbying Day gave us the opportunity to put Tipperary’s priorities front and centre in advance of Budget 2026, and to strengthen the connection between business and Government.

We look forward to continuing this work on behalf of our members in the months ahead.
