Love Tipperary secures Payzone partnership, opening up 150+ purchase points across the county

Major expansion will make the Love Tipperary Gift Card easier to buy while keeping more spending in Tipperary

County Tipperary Chamber has announced a major new partnership with Payzone, significantly expanding access to the Love Tipperary Gift Card across the county.

Through the partnership, the Love Tipperary Gift Card will be available to purchase through selected Payzone payment terminals, with more than 150 Payzone locations across County Tipperary. The move gives Love Tipperary a much stronger retail presence across the county and means consumers will have more opportunities than ever to buy the card locally.

The Love Tipperary Gift Card, delivered by County Tipperary Chamber with the support of Tipperary County Council, can already be spent in more than 350 participating businesses across County Tipperary. That means the card now combines a wide network of local purchase points with hundreds of places to spend it, including independent retailers, cafés, restaurants, hotels, services and national brands.

“This is a major step forward for Love Tipperary. “We have worked hard to build a genuinely county-wide gift card that supports businesses in every part of Tipperary, and this partnership with Payzone takes that to another level. With more than 150 Payzone locations across the county, people will now have a much easier and more convenient way to buy a Love Tipperary Gift Card locally. We already have more than 350 businesses accepting the card, so we now have a very strong proposition: easy to buy, easy to use and, most importantly, the money stays in County Tipperary. Every time someone chooses Love Tipperary, they are making a decision to support businesses, jobs and communities here in the county. For employers, it also provides a practical way to reward staff while ensuring that spend comes back into the local economy.”

The new partnership will further strengthen Love Tipperary’s reach across towns and communities throughout the county by making the card available through familiar local retailers. Once purchased through a participating Payzone location, the recipient can add the digital Love Tipperary Gift Card to their digital wallet through Miconex’s Love Local app and spend it with participating Love Tipperary businesses.

The rollout forms part of the technology and payment infrastructure supporting the Love Tipperary Gift Card, with Miconex providing the gift card platform and Payzone enabling the new retail purchase network. The Love Tipperary Gift Card will continue to be available online, with the Payzone partnership providing an additional way for people to purchase the card locally across County Tipperary.
